Employee Resource Groups

Our Employee Resource Groups(ERG's) play a critical role to the success of our organization. Harris understands the value and sense of belonging that networking and mentoring opportunities provide our employees. Because we appreciate the importance of building professional and productive relationships, our goal is to foster and create an environment where Harris-sanctioned Internal ERGs - and the employees who participate -- can do their best work.

AARG - African American Resource GroupChapter Locations: Melbourne, FL; Rochester, NY; Washington, D.C. - The mission of the AARG is to provide professional development, networking, community engagement, and career management for our members, as well as to promote growth, diversity, and global inclusion.

APEX - Asian Professionals For ExcellenceMelbourne, FL - The goal of APEX is to raise up leaders within Harris at all levels through networking between business areas and external organizations, fostering of peer-to-peer and mentor-protégé relationships, and outreach and service events.

GRAD - Graduate Acclimation and Development OrganizationChapter locations: Melbourne, FL; Lynchburg, VA; Washington, DC; and Rochester, NY. GRAD consists of recent college graduates from schools across the nation. It offers these employees opportunities to achieve their full potential in leadership and their technical careers at Harris by providing personal and professional development seminars, promoting social networks, creating a healthy lifestyle through sporting events, and extending a hand in the community.

HRG - Hispanic Employee Resource GroupMelbourne, FL - HRG mission is to provide our members the tools and resources needed to be engaged and have a successful career at Harris. The Hispanic Resource Group focus is for professional and leadership development, networking and community outreach. The main goal is to nurture professionals to ensure organizational involvement and increase global inclusion awareness.

MVRG - Military and Veterans Resource GroupMelbourne, FL - The MVRG seeks to enable networking and coordination between employees, local Military and Veteran organizations, and the Harris management on issues related to the Military and Veteran population within Harris and the local community.

SERVE - Supporting Emergency Responder's and Veteran's Engagement Employee Resource GroupRochester, NY - The mission of SERVE is to develop relationships between military, former military and public safety volunteer employees with the general employee population as well as the communities we serve.

WIE - Women in Engineering Employee Resource GroupMelbourne, FL - WIE supports the development and nurturing of women in technical fields at Harris Corporation by providing meaningful programs and services in the areas of communications, leadership, career development, and overall enhancement.

WIN - Women's Interactive Network Employee Resource GroupRochester, NY - WIN's mission is to allow employees throughout RFCD to discuss common topics of interest and improve work efficiency by learning about the whole business and building skills through professional development, networking, knowledge sharing and awareness of working women's environment.
