The High-Tech World Is Calling…
Ready to Bring Your 'A' Game?

Having the opportunity to work in a professional environment while still in school is a great way to confirm your career choices. At Harris, your internship will be unique! It is your opportunity to think beyond the classroom, explore our culture, connect with thought leaders, meet new friends, take pride in the projects you complete, and put your future career path into overdrive.

Enjoy Competitive Pay. Relocation. The Whole Works.

In addition to professional experiences in an innovative company, we offer our interns the following benefits:

  • Competitive pay, including ‘paid holidays’ when relevant
  • Relocation and/or housing assistance for eligible students
  • Career development resources
  • Participation in Harris' Employee Resource Groups
  • Challenging work assignments in leading-edge technology and services operations
  • A variety of social and professional networking activities, which may include orientation and kick-off events, mentoring opportunities, various learning and development sessions and more
Criteria for Internships Intern Post-It
  • For college level internships we typically look for rising sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students at accredited 4-year and 5-year U.S. colleges and universities for the following types of positions:
  • As a candidate under consideration, you will need to demonstrate a high level of academic achievement, including a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Work assignments typically begin in May/June and end in August/September.
  • Be prepared to learn, engage as part of the team and have ‘more fun than you can shake a pocket protector at’
Collegiate Co-Ops
  • At our Rochester, NY and Lynchburg, VA locations, Harris offers cooperative education opportunities, or co-ops
  • A co-op is slightly different from an internship in that your school decides the terms and works with us throughout the experience
  • Co-ops may earn credit plus an hourly wage and are not limited to the summer months

If you match the above criteria, submit your resume. Participating students are often considered for repeat internships or a long-term commitment of regular employment upon graduation.
